Our Eco Bus Project and Travels

For four years we have lived on a self built and retrofitted, mobile demonstration of sustainability. A former mountain transit bus transformed into a live/work space powered with waste vegetable oil, solar energy, composting, rainwater harvesting and space to implement an artistic practice, a homeschooling curriculum, and to rest and nourish tired bodies. This is a slow protest, realistic demonstration of off grid living and is aimed to be a catalyst to inspire social change.

Miami life May- June 2012

Getting ready to depart:
" I feel summer creepin' in and I'm tired of this town again " in the spirit of Tom Petty.

However for the first time we are actually making plans to return to Miami and have resolved Miami as our home base.

We look forward to a break and to return energized.

Life these days

Since returning to Miami, Luciano has been going to a homeschooling co-op on an urban farm in Little Haiti Miami. Nando has been working non-stop, I've been house mum and a prospective grad student in San Francisco. Still flipping coins.
Joined up with another bus family, Tom and Sam. Enjoying families and freedom.
